Minnesota area Sew-in

From (L) to (R) Teresa, Mary, Sheree, Sue, Virginia, and Kathy

Our first Minnesota area Sew-in was a success. Sue hosted the event at her home in Stillwater and we had 6 participants. We worked on HeartStrings projects, had show & tell, got to know one another, and even had an outing for lunch and a stop at the local quilt shop.

In addition, HeartStrings quilters from all over are participating in a virtual retreat this weekend.

It sounds as though you all had a very fun and productive time sewing! I wish I could have joined you in spirit but procrastinated too long doing a deadline project, I'm afraid.

I have our local heartstring top together but the girl that I was going to ask to quilt it has not been at the last two meetings. Two small children will do that.

I have a lab too! But so far I haven't got her to quilt yet. Just run over my projects, lie down on my foot peddle and sleep on my quilts. Love the idea of a sew in. I need quilting buddies here in the Niagara region of Ontario. (There is lots of people to quilt but just not my friends.)
